Social Housing - Milton Keynes

Hughes & Associates have contracted  to deliver the annual statutory inspections of all communal areas and residential fire doors at all of Milton Keynes Councils residential housing accommodation by our qualified surveyors, totalling over nine thousand fire doors.

On completion of the survey all defects are logged on HAPS wholly owned software EyeComply system. Photographs of all defects are uploaded direct from the site location ready for sign off from the client's facilities manager with a view for HAPS team of qualified specialist Fire Door carpenters to carry out repairs, priced against a previously agreed schedule of rates.

On completion of the repairs or replacement door an ‘after’ photograph is taken and uploaded to EyeComply as evidence of completion, once accepted by the client the door will be made compliant to the necessary British Standard and validated on the system.

HAPS have also carried out numerous painting and decorating and fire stopping projects for the client at these sites but they sit outside the contracts and are priced individually.
